i guess...

global warming has become so close to heart. maybe its the heat from global warming, that caused my fridge to run out of cold air. it officially spoilt! i was wondering why it suddenly had this chao-tarred smell yesterday. no wonder. tsktsk. look at global warming.

life has been a mad rush. haha although i still dont walk very quickly :) everyday passes so quickly. i've never known my slow-paced life could quicken up so fast. i hope for it to be over soon! :D

i'm so amazed, at the never ending piles and piles of homework. its like really never ending. I wish, that some day, maybe Mozart or Beethoven, or Mr Berlioz, may meet me when i'm sleeping. Then we can discuss my composition together. :) and Mozart can teach me how to write theme and variations! :D and Berlioz can tell me all about his Symphonie Fantastique. Wooooww, how nice would that be. Then i also hope that maybe i can become an Indian for a day, or maybe when terms or exams is near. So i can understand Indian music better. :D then, i also wish and hope that my lungs can breathe in like all the air in LT4, so that i can play elsa in one breathe and maybe another song together too. I also hope that my fingers can be less retarded, so that it can play faster running notes. Then i hope that maybe music centre will become nearer to the main building, so that i dont have to rush here and there for lessons. And one day, i hope to wear the roller shoes thing for 2.4 run :D yay! and maybe i also wish that my backache will go away. Hee. Okay, nothing much interesting here. Hurhur.

somehow, indian music and african music always make me have stomache. tsktsk. and indian music makes me become so giddy... tsktsk. i want to learn to sing the indian way! i'm so impressed by how they can gliss and all that. i want to learn! and how they sing the sa ri ga ma pa dha ni sa so fastly. i want i want! :D

Breakthrough is a process, not an event. Don't give up!

I'm so glad tomorrow's friday! :D yippee!! :D yay! This week is another crazy week! I don't even remember what i've been doing everyday! All i remember is knocking out once i lie down! I loveeeeeeeeee weekends! :D YAY! :D and i love next week too! :D I love school so much! :D but actually, i really am thankful for the teachers i have. Even though sometimes i really complain quite a bit. Hurhur. :D

I think i'm becoming more mature! :D YAY! :D

TODAY'S RACHEL SOH MEI HUI'S BIRTHDAY! :D

Happy Birthday Spastic girl! :D hehe. hope you really had fun today at dinner! and i've never heard you laughed like how you laughed just now at the mouldy photos. haha :D thanks really for being there for me everytime! and i hope you looooooooooooove my budget present for you! :D It's really by God's grace that we know each other i guess. cos we've never been in the same class before, neither the same section. but somehow you became my spastic sister! haha :D i remember all those dinners and studies we have together! aren't you glad to have such a friend like me! :D haha talk about all your admirers man :p i should just send them that photo of you tying your hair just now. then they won't bug you anymore. haha have a blessed year this year! though it's not going to be easy, but trust in the Lord yea. He'll definitely provide!

Gladysheng's 2008 Resolutions :)


Gladysheng was like complaining about why everyone has NEW YEAR resolutions one! so I said it was common and most people did that to have a more meaningful year! so being someone who FOLLOWS THE CROWD, she decided to have her OWN set of NEW YEAR resolutions :D how UNoriginal! HEEHEE :P

SO here goes...

1) Gladys will keep her notebook forever till ever and ever...
- that's because every year, she starts off with a pretty note book, but in less than a weeks time, she will come to school WITHOUT it! either she can't be bothered to keep track of the HUGE pile of homework she accumulated or she LOST IT :D then like maybe she will buy a NEW notebook and that notebook will have the same fate as the first...haiz....

2) Gladys will study hard for her parents and God and her friends who love her...
- that's OF COURSE!!! She must so do that :D

3) Gladys will learn to cherish and appreciate!
-yah, that's really important in life :) cherish and appreciate all your nice friends (like me) especially when it's the last year together :(

Actually, I have the URGE to add like a few more resolutions for her... like maybe:
4) Not be late for any meetings with friends (esp michelletan)
5) Kaypoh less (Did i mention how busybody can she gets at time... I tell you... its OH-MY-GOODNESS...HAHA)
6) STOP sleeping during lectures and STOP asking michelletan to copy math notes for her
7) Walk faster...
8) Swifter actions...

it's the New Year Eve! And before we know it, its New Year Day! :D haha. it sounds quite stupid. But oh wells... :) With all these unrest in Pakistan and the ice at the polar regions melting and causing sea level to rise and yet Singapore is still floating above sea level, i guess i really have to be grateful for everything. :) sometimes, because Singapore doesn't have much unrest, i tend to take safety for granted. And because there's so much variety of food to choose from, i also tend to take food for granted when there's people in Singapore and over the seas, starving and eating cat food. And then comes to shelter, the bed, the computer we have, and all these cool technology stuff. Although sometimes i look at the beautiful semi-ds and bungalow and i sometimes wish i could just stay there for one night, but many a times i overlooked the fact that being sheltered in a storm in a hdb flat is a blessing. As compared to those who don't even have a proper place to live in... Many times, i complain, and compare. But what's the use of all these? :) God calls us to follow Him just like what Ps Edmund said. And all these things that God has wonderfully provided, it's time to give thanks. :)

As 2007 comes to a close, there's always many reflections made. And i'll make one too! :D well, this year have been quite a tough year for me. Emotionally, spiritually, physically (HAHA). First there was the 1st three months, syf, terms, april concert, june concert, terms again, promos, end year concert. And through it all, God saw me through. :) talking about how i came to ac. i got like 19 for prelims which was somewhere near what qiu rong got too. so we decided to put same choices together! :) at that time i didn't know that if you appeal you have to put that school as your first choice, but actually thinking of it now it was quite logical to do that. haha so we actually put pj first. then don't know how and why, we decied to put ac then pj. and then, michelle tan told me i had to put ac first! so, ta da! thats how i came ac. :) haha God has a plan for me here i guess. And i give thanks :) adapting to jc life, feeling tired everyday. haha i also don't know why i feel tired like everyday. music, haha music soon became ALL of my life. HAHA :D and whatever it is now, i'll just chiong one more year. Through syf, band fest. All these not so good moments, when i questioned God why is it like that. I thank God that He has given me friends in ac, through all these not so good times. Thank God for michelletan! :D haha my half-timetable friend. All the gsc, china studies, math lectures. And also, thank God for preserving the friendships with old friends! One year has came and gone ever since we left bp, but i thank God that these are my friends for life. :) Although one of these friendship kind of screwed up, but I still will pray for her once in a while. And after four years of not having any concerts, this year came 4 of them! :) of which everyone i want to thank God for, for these memories. everyone left different memories, of which i cherish quite a lot. haha :) and also for my family! I used to take family a little for granted, but i now know that it takes quite a lot to keep a family going, and i thank God for He's always there, ever present to touch and heal my family. :) Next year will be a tought one, and i commit it into God's hands.

And to the j2s, i'll miss you guys. :)

God will not leave His children alone. :) and hosea 11.. about God's undying love for isreal, like no matter how much isreal sin n how God cannot be with them.. in the sense that sin separates God and men but God cannot, literally cannot bring Himself to give up on Isreal.. so God will not give up on ur family!.. press on sister! love ya.

the three wise men, came all the way from the east to Bethelem to worship Christ, saying 'the King of all kings, born in the most humble place...' because God came to Earth as flesh, there is hope. Hope for all mankind :) Indeed, O night divine. Joseph, Mary, the three wise men, plus the father and mother of John the Baptist, they all served God well.

and happy belated birthday to Evelyn and Rebecca Teoh! :D love you both very much! :D

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS! :D Christmas, ever wonder what does Christmas means to you? :) All the snowman and snowflakes when singapore does not snow, and the santa and christmas trees and jingle bells! I like Christmas! Because this is a season to celebrate the birth of Christ, thus comes the word Christmas i think. :) maybe to many people, its nothing more than a public ocassion and all, but i think to me, it's a really meaningful festive. If Christ did not put away with eternity and subject himself to time, if He did not come down to Mother Earth to redeem us, we would have been really really lost. Today Pastor Edmund talked about forgiveness. Christmas is all God's forgiveness to mankind, to re-establish the relationship with have with Him. What an awesome God. To me, Christmas is not only about forgiveness, but it also reminds me of the great great love Christ have for me and you. That He gave up His throne in heaven, to come down to earth to save us. Who are we, but sinners? But God called us His creation, created in His likeness. :) indeed, we can never truly comprehend fully the great love Christ had for us.

So, this year, this season, why not take a moment to think about how did Christmas all came about and is it really all about santa? Or is there more than that? :)

i caught national treasure today! :) and hit man last week! :)

of which i prefer national treasure! :) and i went back to band last week and two days ago too! work harder ok, you kids. haha better hentak nicer. and good posture too. :p and bells up higher! work hard work hard and get something good next year! :) and i had band fest too. so exciting.
