oh yes. i was talking to samho about all my secondary school band days. haha and ling qiu rong, if you ever read this, just want to tell you that i really miss those days when we had silly and fun times in the same section! and gooi just had to split us up :( i still remember all the stupid things you did! haha :D and your promos just ended right! i bet you are going to play eat and slack like crazy now! tsktsk. i kind of miss the bp days!

today is practical day! :) actually i really dislike that feeling of getting so nervous :( after spending like so many hours, like uncountable and then starting to think about every movement that i havve or should make during the performance. blea. i'm glad it's over! quite proud of my gigue! i think it's worse then going for a rollercoaster ride! my heart was pounding so fast, so fast i thought i saw it on the piano keyboard. haha kidding. but blea. so blea. BLEA. :D one more mep paper plus my composition and i'm done! :D yay! quite happy! hee. actually i was quite happy after china studies. this week has been, unthinkable! hurhur. i really saw God's grace in every of my paper. :)

Indeed, there is no one like God. no one who loves that much, no one who has so much control, so one so great. Today i realised once again that God is that much! just want to trust in Him in everything. and to study FOR HIM. yep :) not for anything else. :)

went back to bp today. and it made me miss the good old days all over again. i miss getting to bump into all the usual people everyday, being able to see them everyday. just everything about the good old bukit panjang. :) but everything feels so different now. different building, different place, different everything. i thank God really, for everything in bp. all the nice memories i had there :) i'm just kind of sad. that things had to turn out this way, but i guess God is in control of everything ya? after going to jc, i started to think more. haha (michelletan remember the i keep thinking so much thing haha) i just miss the times we get to see everybody in the canteen, field, pathways, everything. even if it's just saying hi or waving to one another. the science lab, computer lab, the classroom. the ulu place behind the netball court, it brings back so many fond memories. but so sad, everything is like going to be renovated now. boo. the journey to school and the journey back.

what happened to my nice little world that i used to live in? :( yah, like what tan say, i see so many not nice things of life now. why is it like that? :( thamjiemin, i miss going to school and having school with you. jenniferxie, i miss sitting beside you alot. remember all the silly things we do in class? haha. and yvonne too. :) cheer up ya. and rachelsoh and qiurong, i miss you too. rachelsoh, i think we can be like friends for life. haha i think we already are :p i've got every that much things to talk to you even though we were never in the same class before! :D and shafiqah! his 3 gymnopedies challenged the romantic notions of expressity and individuality! so cool right. and he writes withour barlines except for sonatine bureaucratique, which makes it so special such that it had to become one of my focus works! he writes really simple stuff, simple rhythm, simple and transparent texture, and bla. however, just like a normal weirdo kid now, he uses weird titles such as Three Pieces in the Form of a Pear which actually has SEVEN pieces! he's really weird. but, can't blame him. haha it was in the midst of World War One i think. 1913. he writes instructions on the score specifically for performers to read! :D i think that's quite cool. hehe. and this reinforces the idea of performing for one's enjoyment of something like that. very cool! ok, he writes circular and static harmonies. I-IVc. his favourite. he uses parallel and modal chords too! and he has unconventional modulations! wow, wow, WOW! hurhur. ok. satie rocks. :D WWI and WWII affected music in france too! the rise of nationalism. bla. ok goodnight! :D Satie lived from 1866 to 1925. :D i memorised it already! :D tomorrow have to do harmony. and got geog lecture!

i think titanic is a really nice song :p very nice! yah. i find a lot of comfort in this two lines :) because it reminds me that God is the place where i can go to when i'm feeling all stressed and noob and i don't know. haha it's just this stone-y feeling, like my mind went to outerspace and couldn't find its way back. so i wasn't thinking much.

and saw many other one-of-us there too! :) and jenniferxie gave me my beloved birthday present! thank you jenniferxie! haha. i like :) i reallk like to talk to her. haha the full of nonsense aunty. thanks for the $1 ice cream treat! :D and going to fullerton is so fun. haha very nice leh inside! oh, i dozed off while shirleen ong was talking. yes yes, bp is such s wonderful place! :p and then sec1-3 prizes. those crazy people, get so manh prize. let other people have some chance too right! no wonder people like me always have no chance to get prize. tsktsk. ok kidding (: and its our turn! hehe. and then shima talked. and it made me think of my bp life more real-lifely for the first time. and i realised how much i like the time when we can just stay in a class tgt, have band practices tgt, have pe tgt. so fun :) i got like this powerpoint slide thing went through my mind. and i really like bp alot. all the liam, matthew lim, mr loh, paul, vlee classes. going to l1 and p3 to disturb rachelsoh and jiemin and qiurong. and climbing up all the way to fourth level. i really miss that place quite alot. it's so different in ac now (: not that ac isnt good (: but yah. though bp may be quite cheena, but its a really good place where i found my good friends. good lifelong friends :D and tanyingzi! havent talk to you for a rather long time. hehe :D talk soon! but yah. it felt quite good doing the cheer, singing the song. hearing always the chinese version like nobody sing then suddenly the english version louder by alot. and joyceongkiankiat! HAH :D i had fun hanging out with you today! :D

so, many thoughts la. :p and then went to meet puaypuay and the rest for awhile (: cos like they all eat finish alr and i ate three plates at the reception :p hehe! quite fun la. haha it's always fun to hang out with my 'cool' seniors. haha. and then like, i don't know, i have such nice friends in ac too! i wonder why the world as to kill here kill there. over issues like pride? i mean like, its so not worth it. there's so much more meaning to life then this. why kill here kill there? and why is the education system like that? and the hairy potter movie had to remind me of such education system. haha :p isnt teacher's job and schools' duty to teach and nuture us? what for have so many chim visions and missions when its just all a look nice thing and actually they are doing those things to some students. ok, oops. haha not that singapore's education is not good. in fact, i'm really thankful for education (: yah. just that, why can't we love one another?
